Giacomo Leopardi's "L'Infinito" has become a video poem, or rather a poem in the form of a short film, at the "La punta della lingua 2020" total poetry festival: it was screened as a national preview at the Courtyard of Palazzo Venieri in Recanati. The animation is signed by Simone Massi, one of the greatest animated film directors in the world, while the acting voice is by Neri Marcorè, the soundtrack by Stefano Sasso, the filming by Julia Gromskaya and the post-production by Lola Capote. A minute and a half in which stories and presences, people and animals, experiences and instincts told by Massi's moving pencil intertwine. The video poetry "L'Infinito" was the protagonist a few days ago of the 10th International Supertoon Animation Festival, in Šibenik in Croatia and will also be the only Italian work to represent our country at the 18th Hiroshima International Animation Festival , scheduled for August 20 to 24 in Japan.
70 artists are expected at the Total Poetry Festival for 30 events in Ancona and San Severino Marche until 9 August.
