(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 02 - About 7,800 people were evacuated due to a large fire that broke out on Friday and still "out of control" that is burning the Cherry Valley east of Los Angeles, as reported by the Riverside county firefighters at CNN. The fire started on Friday before 17:00 local time, according to the CNNKABC-TV affiliate. As of Saturday night, the flames burned around 12,000 acres and the flames are still "out of control" according to police. Evacuation centers were set up at local hotels and at Beaumont High School, said firefighter spokesman Rob Roseen. All centers will apply Covid-19 protocols such as screening of entrance temperature, masks and social distance, said Roseen. (HANDLE).
