The people of the world of culture went up to Balfour tonight (Tuesday), for a huge protest event in Jerusalem in light of the situation in which the world of culture found itself following the Corona crisis, in which they call for the immediate opening of cultural institutions in Israel.

The event is led by the Forum of Cultural and Art Institutions in Israel, representing hundreds of cultural and art institutions along with other organizations including EMI, Shaham, the New Musicians Association, the Children and Youth Theater Association, the Hall of Culture Forum, the Arab Cultural Associations Forum, The Stage in Israel, the Playwrights' Association, the Musicians' Association, the Choreographers' Association, the Directors' Association of Film and Television, Asitz - the Israeli Center for Children and Youth Theater, the Plastic Artists' Association, the Documentary Creators Forum and many more.



Starting at 17:00, a convoy of industry and cultural and artistic institutions from all over the country left for Balfour where there were performances, cultural performances and speeches about the incompetence of the government and the destruction of the cultural industry in Israel.



Among the participants - Rivka Michaeli, the Philharmonic Orchestra, the actors Esti Zakheim, Dror Keren, Guy Lowell and Dalia Shimko, the singers Dorit Reuveni and Amal Morkus, the Rimon School singers, the Beit Lessin theater actors, Gesher and the Cameri, the Israeli Opera singers and many others.
