Cyberpunk 2077: Players have to choose between these three “life paths”

In the last “Night City Wire” stream, CD Projekt RED went into more detail about the “paths of life” in “Cyberpunk 2077”. These tell the story and remain relevant throughout the game.

CD Projekt broadcast another “ Night City Wire ” stream and again provided some interesting insights into “ Cyberpunk 2077 ”. In the latest episode, the developers took a closer look at the different " life paths " that players can choose. These not only influence the history and the starting point of the character, they also play a role in the course of the entire plot. In the following we reveal which paths in life can be taken.

Cyberpunk 2077 life paths: Street Kid, Nomad or Corpo

In Cyberpunk 2077, players have three life paths to choose from, each with their own advantages: Street Kid , Nomad and Corpo . These differ as follows:

• Street Kid : The Street Kid grew up in Night City and knows the criminal underground that lurks behind the glittering facade of Night City. Anyone who embarks on this path of life is very familiar with the city's gangs and their machinations. In missions, street kids can handle confrontations with gang members better and attract them to their side more easily.
• Nomad : In contrast to the Street Kid, city life is alien to the Nomad. They hang around in deserts far from the metropolis and they often choose their families themselves. In Night City, however, the nomads are among the outcasts among outcasts. V comes from a nomad clan who used to roam the Badlands. For them, family comes first above all else. V decides to leave for Night City for reasons that are not yet known.
• Corpo : The Corpos are the henchmen of large corporations in Night City: They are members of the Arasaka Corporation and not so much on the street or in the desert. True, life as an entrepreneur in Night City may offer a more sheltered environment where martial arts and weapons are less important. But Protagonist V has different skills and business know-how than Corpo, which opens up completely different approaches in missions.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be released in November

There are only a few months left until the release of “Cyberpunk 2077”. The eagerly awaited game should be released in November. The developers originally planned to release it in April 2020, but the release has been postponed a few times. Until then, CD Projekt RED will regularly provide new insights into the " Night City Wire " streams. A third episode will soon be shown, but there is still a date for it.
