The gold and jewelery sector restarts from Vicenza after the lockdown.

The unprecedented and innovative review called "Voice", acronym for Vicenzaoro International Community Event, open at the fair from 12 to 14 September, represents the first world event in attendance after the postponement from the beginning of the year of all the international reviews of the sector.

A courageous and virtuous challenge that of Italian Exhibition Group, a leading company in Italy in the organization of events and one of the main operators in the trade fair sector, in fact already won from the start given that the exhibition, set up in a few months and among many difficulties to guarantee maximum compliance with anti-Covid regulations, over 370 exhibitors joined.

A bright layout and a great ferment of business welcomed an audience, already numerous from Saturday morning, who during the "three days" will be able to cross the pavilions in maximum safety, thanks to the application of the #safe business protocol.

Great amazement and admiration for the innovative proposals proposed at Voice 2020: among others a reinterpretation of the iconic Damiani pendant-brooch inspired by the beauty and style of Queen Margherita, among diamonds, sapphires, morganite and beryllium;

the most famous and precious "eggs" in the world, those of Fabergè, an example of tradition and incomparable processing techniques;

the tiny springs in 18-karat gold that make the links of the jewels extendable, in the high innovation of Fope;

a gold necklace with a diamond tip from the art of Antonini;

the protagonism of nature in the forms of Mattioli with a game of white and black diamonds set on titanium and gold;

the aesthetic references to the Verona Arena on Roberto Coin's “Love in Verona” jewels, ambassadors of Italy and its beauties.

In the opening speech, the president of IEG, Lorenzo Cagnoni, told how he came to propose, first in the world, a fair exhibition liv.

"It is a format - said Cagnoni - born listening to companies and for companies. Let's start again from beauty, the absolute value of a Made in Italy that finds a voice here to open a new season that reaffirms the importance of the fair as a strategic tool for companies, to reconnect those fundamental relationships within the production sector, between supply chains and international markets ".

"During the spring - continued Cagnoni - we never stopped and once the lockdown was over we continued with stubbornness because we wanted at all costs to propose a world event in September to restart. With this event we took a new path but in 2021 we aim to re-propose the usual great international goldsmith fair in Vicenza with operators from all continents ".

At the opening of the proceedings, a strong appeal for a relaunch of the export of the goldsmith sector came from all the trade associations, which sent a document containing 14 precise requests on the subject of internationalization to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Luigi Di Maio.
