300 euros for each child: Germany’s parents are now gradually receiving the state crisis premium.
But not everyone is satisfied with the support.
Parents who
receive
child benefit
are known to receive the
Corona child bonus *
totaling 300 euros per child
.
Since September 7, 2020, affected families
will be paid
the
first installment of 200 euros per child
.
In
October followed by another 100 euros
- and does it automatically, as the German Press Agency (dpa) reported.
Parents who
receive
child benefit
can, according to reports, then
expect
the money to arrive on the account
.
When the first payment of 200 euros will be transferred to you, the parents concerned can easily
read off
the
last digit of the child benefit number
.
Another 100 euros will follow in October.
The bonus for affected parents is part of the economic stimulus package, which is intended to stimulate consumption again after the corona lockdown.

In other words: the higher the income, the less of it is left in the end - depending on the income level and family constellation.
Eight of the eligible families should benefit fully, reports dpa, “for example a couple with three children with an annual income of up to around 67,800 euros”, according to the example calculation.
With a higher income, there is less left over, "nothing more from 106,000 euros".
In the case of married parents with one child, if the annual income exceeds 86,000 euros, “ultimately nothing” remains of the bonus.
The
child bonus
is not
offset
against Hartz IV or advance maintenance payments - payments continue as normal.

Is there always 300 euros more left over
for
single parents
?
No, it says in the dpa report.
It is true that the single parent who
receives
the
child benefit also
receives the child bonus.
But if the other parent pays child support, he can deduct half of the bonus from it.
According to media reports, many single parents feel abandoned because of this.
And the Association of Single Mothers and Fathers also criticizes this.
