His songs are known worldwide and he performs with them in front of huge audiences, but apparently Robbie Williams has big problems with something very everyday: The singer suffers from a mathematical weakness, which makes it difficult for him to remember numbers.
He talked about this on the "Three Little Words" podcast.
"I can neither add nor subtract," said the 46-year-old.
For example, he could not give the full address of his home in Los Angeles because it began with four numbers: "I can never remember which digits are," he said.
Williams apparently also has problems remembering data.
As a result, he often got into trouble: "I don't know when it is my children's birthday. I also don't know our wedding day and my wife's date of birth," said Williams.
But the singer has found a creative solution for a memory aid: "I'll have all the dates tattooed so that I have them with me."
Williams described his situation with a certain film: Every day is like in "Memento" for him.
In the thriller, the main character Leonard Shelby is looking for his wife's murderer, but he suffers from anterograde amnesia and can only remember the past few minutes.
Williams has four children with his wife Ayda Field: eight-year-old Theodora Rose, five-year-old Charlton Valentine, two-year-old Colette Josephine and a few months old Beau Benedict.
The couple has been married since 2010.
