18-year-old Dylan Harvey, from Virginia, USA, did not know his soul when he discovered what his new tattoo looked like in the mirror. He spent two hours in the tattoo chair and left the tattoo studio with the words "dream chaser" on his arm. The popular tattoo has garnered more than 2.5 million views online.
Dylan said he paid $ 200 for his tattoo: "I have not been to this studio before, but he was very clean and professional. I did the tattoo because I wanted it to motivate me to pursue my dreams and I am a big fan of rapper Mick Mill. 'Dream chaser' means to me "I have to do everything I can to pursue the dreams and live the life I wanted when I was a kid. I thought the tattoo looked great when I first saw it. Of course I saw it through the mirror."
He added: "I did not notice that the tattoo was upside down until my friend told me. I was very angry and a lot of emotions were watching me at that moment."
After the video showing the tattoo went viral, Dylan even received a message from celebrity tattoo coach Bang Bang, whose clients include Rihanna and Kylie Jenner - and offered to repair the damage.
Dylan said: "I'm not traumatized and I look forward to finishing my sleeve in the future."
The tattoo has garnered mixed reactions from relatives and on social media.
He said: "My friend just thought it was funny and it looked good and my family thought I was stupid. There were good and bad reactions on social media, from those who said it looked good and they could sympathize with it, to those who said it looked awful and that's what I get for $ 200." .
One social media user suggested to Dylan: "Just bring a child into the world and call him Resahc Maerd. Modern problems require modern solutions."
