According to the current outline, only Israelis who purchased airline tickets before the start of the closure can take advantage of them and fly abroad.

Transport Minister Miri Regev arrived at Ben Gurion Airport last weekend in order to verify law enforcement and this past weekend, all passengers arriving at Ben Gurion Airport are required to fill out a declaration form in which they confirm that they purchased the flight ticket before the closure begins.

Airlines may suffer very heavy economic damage if this decision is upheld.

Israir emphasizes that for the upcoming flights, only 6,000 flight tickets were sold out of 12,000 seats and that there is a demand, as there is no sales permit.

The damage is estimated at about two million dollars.

It is important to note that senior health officials in Israel, including Professor Itamar Grotto, Prosper Gimzo and Dr. Elrai-Price, admitted that the decision to restrict the flights was not due to epidemiological considerations. The director general of the Ministry of Health added that there is no real danger to flights to green countries. Underwent corona tests before takeoff.
