(ANSA) - CHIETI, 05 OCT - Diego Ferrara is the new mayor of Chieti.
He defeated the center-right candidate Fabrizio Di Stefano in the ballot.
Ferrara, expression delcentrosinistra, is related to the 4 civic lists of the candidate mayor Paolo De Cesare.
Celebrations are in progress in front of the headquarters of the Ferrara electoral committee in corsoMarrucino, present the PD regional secretary Michele Fina and the regional councilor Silvio Paolucci.
Ferrara won by 56 percent.
