In November 2020, consumers will have to be prepared for new corona restrictions, but can look forward to the Nutri-Score and Cyber Week.
Germans expect
many
changes
in
November 2020
.
The
corona lockdown light
was decided by the federal government.
There are also some innovations in the
health sector
.
Munich -
November 2020
brings some changes with it: Due to the
Corona crisis
, the "lockdown light" will come, there will be new specifications for
doctor prescriptions
and
a lot will
happen
in the
German capital
as well
.
We have the most important
changes
in the overview.
Changes in November 2020: The Corona lockdown light is coming and AHAAL is playing an important role
From November 2nd, the new rules to contain the coronavirus will apply: Chancellor
Angela Merkel
calls
the next step in the
corona crisis
"lockdown light"
, which is intended to break the second wave and prevent the uncontrolled spread of the virus.
The
reinforced corona rules
include, among other things, the reduction of public contacts, the closure of restaurants (except for pick-up and delivery) and leisure facilities (including cinemas and fitness studios) as well as the ban on tourist overnight stays.
In addition to the
AHAAL rules
(distance, hygiene, everyday
mask
, app and ventilation), they should be followed by the end of the month.
It's basically very simple.

Changes in November 2020: Are the corona rapid tests coming?
Because the common
PCR tests are
very complex and the laboratories are very busy, the federal government is apparently considering
allowing
corona rapid
tests
in November
.
They are also carried out using the PCR method, but can be evaluated on site without a laboratory.
In contrast to the classic
PCR tests
, the
rapid
tests
should
deliver a result after 15 minutes.
However, there is currently still a lot of controversy among experts as to how reliably a
positive or negative finding should
be assessed - and in which scenarios it would make sense to use it.
Changes in November 2020: Innovations in the health sector concern doctor prescriptions and Nutri-Score
From November 1st,
pharmacists will have
one less task and
doctors
one more:
the doctor now has to enter the
dosage of
a prescription drug in the
prescription
.
The mandatory entry does not affect people with a dosage and medication plan.
The reason for the change in the drug regulation may be the
increased online trade in drugs
.
The
Nutri-Score
is designed to help consumers eat healthily.
"Nutri" - that comes from "Nutrition", the English term for nutrients.
Manufacturers of finished products can
legally use the
nutrient rating logo
from November.
However, this is not a legal requirement, but is based on the
voluntary participation of
the manufacturers.

The Nutri-Score comes to Germany: the “greener” the rating, the cheaper the nutritional value of a product.

Changes in November 2020: The capital of Germany scores with the rent cap and BER airport
On
22 November 2020
the second stage of the Berlin rent cap picks:
existing rents
that exceed the new rent limits (incl. Surcharges or discounts) by more than 20 percent, are then forbidden and must be lowered.
At the end of October there was an urgent application against the
second stage of the rent cover,
but this was rejected.
Nine years after the planned opening, the time has come: The
capital airport BER will
open its doors to the public on October 31.
In the course of November 2020, operations will continue to ramp up.
The
Federal Government used
the new Berlin Airport (BER) for a business trip for the first time on October 21.
Changes in November 2020: reminder for car insurance and changes to eID cards
For many car owners, November 30th is the
cut-off date for
changing
insurance
.
The
same applies to
motor vehicle insurance:
the cancellation must be received up to one month before the end of the term.
Since most contracts run until the end of a year, i.e. until the end of December, a change of insurance should be planned in November at the latest.
Otherwise the insurance will be extended by one year - unless there is a special right of termination for the motor insurance.
From November 2nd,
passport and administrative authorities in
Germany
can also
issue
so-called eID cards for
EU citizens
.
It is important that these save you a trip to the consulate or embassy - but do not replace your passport or identity card.
For citizens from other EU countries, the eID card can replace the Post-Ident procedure.
Changes in November 2020: Cyber Week is coming - Singles Day, Black Friday and Cyber Monday
Singles Day
starts on November 11th
, during which many retailers significantly reduce their prices.
This is followed by
Black Friday
on November
27th
and
Cyber Monday
on November 30th
.
Due to the
corona pandemic
, there will be
many offers
in
online retail
this year
, as thousands of retailers want to get involved in these offers.
Changes in November 2020: The building energy replacement replaces existing laws
The new
Building Energy Act (GEG) will come
into force
on November 1st
.
It leads the Energy Saving Act (EnEG), the Energy Saving Ordinance (EnEV) and the Renewable Energies Heat Act (EEWärmeG).
For house builders, among other things, from November 1st, renewable energies such as solar thermal energy, heat pumps, combined heat and power systems or fuel cell heating as well as district and waste heat must be used.
Brokers and owners must be able to show an
energy
pass when viewing the apartment
.
From 2026 things will get serious: From then on, certain oil and coal heating systems will no longer be allowed to be used.
Changes in November 2020: Tax exemptions for climate-friendly cars
Another new law brings nature and climate protection into focus: The amended Motor Vehicle Tax Act provides that owners of emission-free electric cars and low-emission cars with internal combustion engines pay no or less taxes.
A tax exemption can apply for up to ten years for e-cars and up to five years for cars with combustion engines.
Changes in November 2020: Sky and DHL with important innovations for consumers
After the takeover by the US giant Comcast, it will
initially be expensive
for
existing Sky
customers: Some existing subscription advantages are
no
longer applicable, so that some customers have to dig deeper into their pockets.
This means that there is a special right of termination in which the normal notice periods do not apply.
But be careful: it is only valid until the
end of November 2020.
From
November 15,
DHL wants to bring
more transparency to delivery via app: "Desired neighbor", "Desired storage location" and "Desired day" become "Neighbor", "Storage location" and "Delivery day".
