A key Gendarmerie expert died in the Nisman case: he claimed that the prosecutor was murdered

Orlando Caballero was the head of Criminalistics of that force. He died of a bilateral pneumonia caused by the coronavirus.

Orlando Caballero, the chief of criminalistics of the National Gendarmerie who appraised the death of prosecutor Alberto Nisman died of coronavirus after being hospitalized for more than a month. 

This was confirmed to

Clarín

from the force to which he belonged.

Caballero spent more than a month in the Military Hospital due to bilateral pneumonia triggered by the virus.

Caballero participated in the expert opinion that the Gendarmerie carried out after Nisman's death and

supported the assassination hypothesis.
