For the distribution of vaccines, 'ad hoc' logistics should be envisaged by the Defense, already engaged in missions for long-range logistic support such as international operations.
It is not excluded at the moment, as is already the case in Milan for the flu vaccine, the hypothesis that the military can also be used to administer the doses.
Today the emergency commissioner, Domenico Arcuri, had announced the arrival of the first doses of the anti-covid vaccine for one million and seven hundred thousand Italians at the end of next January.
At the moment, a Plan for distribution and administration is underway in which defense experts would be involved, among others, to take care of the logistical aspects, which could also include setting up the vaccination points.
