A 22-year-old woman was asked by employees of the public order office in Euskirchen on Wednesday to wear mouth and nose protection.
Despite repeated requests, the woman refused to put on a mask.
Then the situation escalated: The 22-year-old first kicked the mobile phone out of the hand of an employee of the public order office.
Then she hit a city worker in the head with her fist and finally kicked her face.
The city worker was slightly injured, as the police announced on Thursday.
A passerby eventually helped overwhelm the young woman.
In consultation with the public order office and the emergency doctor, the young woman was forcibly admitted to a hospital.
During the operation of the called police officers, she hit an officer with her head.
Criminal proceedings were initiated against the accused.
