have been happily married for 43 years, and together they have formed a beautiful family.
In her book entitled 'Where the Light Enters: Building a Family, Discovering Myself', the teacher recounted her love story with the politician, who persisted and asked her five times.
"The first time Joe asked me to marry him, he just said, 'I want us to get married.' It wasn't a big deal, just a random conversation on any given day. I already knew what he was feeling, so it didn't take me by surprise. I also knew I couldn't say yes, "Jill recounted.
From the get-go the two made a great dumbbell, in fact Joe revealed in his book 'Joe Biden.
Promises to Keep ', that Jill brought him back to life.
"It made me start to think that my family could be whole again."
