(ANSA) - MILAN, 12 NOV - Negramaro's 'Contact' is a stand-up album of musical and human resistance.

The band's decimolavoro studio is out this Friday forSugarmusic and tells the dream of returning to hug, touch, feel human beings in the same space as others, perhaps in that 'no man's land' that in one of the new songs is, for the band , the land of all, where migrants are "people who migrate" and not just migrants.

The title chosen for the complete work, that of the homonymous piece, summarizes the dream of the precise historical moment that we live and collects a total of twelve stories in music, written by Giuliano Sangiorgi, produced by Andro and packaged by the entire Negramaro family.

Next year the six will also celebrate twenty years since the first cellar in which they found themselves to play, that of Ermanno's father, barrels of negroamaro wine, and which all together they converted into the rehearsal room.

In 2023, however, it will be the twentieth anniversary of the first album.

"Today contact is the most dreamed word by anyone on our planet - explained Sangiorgi - but the title of the song was already there before the pandemic changed our lives. We wanted to push on the need to get back in touch, re-evaluate physicality. Today it makes sense. different and even more significant ".

'Contact' is also the single that allowed the group to stay in first place in the AirPlayradiofonico for three weeks.

A sui generis concept album, because the twelve stories told are different, but united by a spirit of resilience and the need to be there, every day in the little things.

Within the Negramaro journey there is only one collaboration and it is with Madame, on the notes of 'Non è veroniente'.

Different, however, the inspirations that can be glimpsed in the songs, from Lucio Dalla to Ennio Morricone.
