The Crown

, the world-famous Netflix original series that will be available in all countries where the service is active from Sunday 15 November 2020, are coming. The featurette, entitled 'The creation of a new chapter ', is dedicated to how the arrival of Diana (Emma Corrin) and Margaret Thatcher (Gillian Anderson) will change the world of The Crown.

The cast and crew of the series will give us a glimpse of the rivalries and relationships that await us in the new season.

The new images, however, are dedicated to the engagement between Lady Diana and Prince Charles (Josh O'Connor).

Inspired by the award-winning play The Audience, The Crown tells the story of Queen Elizabeth II's decade-long reign and the struggle between her private and public self. 

In the late 1970s, Queen Elizabeth (Olivia Colman) and her family are busy securing the line of succession to the throne by looking for the right wife for Prince Charles (Josh O'Connor), who is still a bachelor in his 30s.

As the nation begins to feel the impact of the controversial policies pioneered by Margaret Thatcher, the first woman to hold the office of prime minister, tensions between her and the queen worsen as the premier leads the country into the Falklands War, creating conflicts across the country.
