2020-11-12T22:17:45.080Z

The Granada-born comedian has had a summer full of bowling and will participate in the Raphael 1 Christmas special.

(Six months have passed since the lockdown ended and we began, in phases, the return to "the new normal." With this series, They Resisted, we want to remember the people and stories, many of them viral, that helped us to weather the first wave of the pandemic).

In his latest video, entitled

Are you ready?

Take care go!

the comical Martita de Graná reminds us of everything we live in spring ... in case someone has forgotten it and as a warning of what may come back in this second wave.

In just forty seconds, there are the cloth gown, the virtual bottles, to have someone by your side all day, it does not matter Monday or Saturday afternoon, and so on.

Three hours after posting it, the clip already had 400,000 views on Instagram and 17,000 likes on Facebook.

Verne's

talk

with Martita de Graná should have been a post-confinement interview, a kind of closing of the cycle after the first information published two weeks after the declaration of the state of alarm in March in which to reflect on what was experienced and the impact of its videos, in which confined life was taken with humor: from drinking beer all day to considering as privileged those who had pets and could go out for a walk every day.

She was not the only one: other comedians like Pepe Demi or the actor Miguel Ángel Martín, for example, also helped us deal with the strangeness of those days with their comic videos.

However, the day we speak with the comedian again is the Monday when the perimeter confinement begins in Granada.

The night before, the country had already slept under the curfew.

The past becomes present and the post-confinement talk is added, quite naturally, the conversation about what is coming our way.

The review of the past becomes the talk of something going to happen between now and Christmas and we'll see how far it goes.

The good news, however, is that, as confinement reaches the degree of seclusion, Martita is willing to continue recording her videos to brighten the lives of her hundreds of thousands of followers.

“We see the ears of the wolf with the confinement, yes.

But since what I like is making videos, I will continue with them ”.

The videos that Martita records, short, acid and self-produced, were the ones that about five years ago made her the comedian she is today.

With fewer followers, of course.

On Instagram he currently has 1.1 million followers.

The videos of the confinement gave him 700,000 more or less new ones.

Christmas Eve with Raphael

Just in case, with the return to freedom that meant the end of that state of alarm, back in May, two good things happened to Martita: the work that was half finished when the virus arrived and the bowling pins were fired.

In March of this unfortunate year 2020 he had 14 performances that he lost.

But he's recovered in the best way possible, with a feature-packed summer.

He acknowledges that "I was doing well before, but after confinement even better."

His artistic summer, which has lasted until the end of October, has been "very busy."

In addition to performances, "fortunately with everything sold out," he explains, Martita has faced a film –García y García, with José Mota and Pepe Viyuela, which will premiere next summer– and has also participated in the program Illustrious ignorant .

The role in the movie comes to him the way things come today.

The director's daughters, Ana Murugarren, were Martita's followers and told their mother to include her.

A casting later, Martita was inside.

In the first interview with Verne, the comedian recalled that she did not monetize her videos because she preferred the freedom to make them the way she wanted, and this is a secondary way - the unfathomable paths of destiny, in classical language - to get the most out of her audiovisual pill.

And since, whatever happens, Christmas is coming, Martita has been summoned in a few days to the special Christmas program at 1 with Raphael.

It was to be the end of his vacation and the beginning of a new bowling season although, depending on how the situation progresses, it may just be a parenthesis in his longer stay at his home in Granada.

The next confinement, at least, catches her with the work finished and the house ready.

At the end of October, Martita has taken a couple of weeks off.

At this pre-something stage, the comedian fondly remembers her role in confinement last spring.

“Many people I come across thank me for what I did then.

I had to stop recording so often in summer because of work, but these days off are coming in very handy to continue with them ”.

The views of some videos are close to a million on Instagram and far exceed two million on Facebook.

Of the many videos of the confinement, by the way, only one of them has been incorporated into the show.

On this first day of the second state of alarm, Martita is regular.

She has had a cold and tired for a few days.

As often happens, it has been taking vacations and, when stopping, leaving his body lying.

Meanwhile, she recounts her performances and how many people have seen her.

"30,000 people have come to see me," he recalls.

In his opinion and with all the security measures present on stages and in theaters, "culture is safe."
