(ANSA) - NEW YORK, NOVEMBER 17 - Jeff Bezos donates 791 million dollars to 16 organizations fighting climate change. This is the first donation from the owner of Amazondal his Earth Fund of 10 billion dollars. Bezos intends to use the resources available to the fund to finance scientists, activists, NGOs and others who fight against climate change.
Half of Bezos' first donation went to well-known environmental groups such as the Environmental Defense Fund, the Natural Resources Defense Council, the Nature Conservancy and the World Wildlife Fund (ANSA).
