(ANSA) - BERLIN, NOVEMBER 17 - The police arrested 3 people in Berlin as part of the investigation into the millionaire theft from the Dresden museum, Gruene Gewoelbe.
This was reported by Dpa.
At the first light of dawn in the German capital there was a large-scale search in the premises of the Lebanese clan Remno di Neukoelln, suspected of the millionaire heist, reports Bild.
The police operation that led to the arrest of three people for the millionaire theft of valuables, which took place a year ago, involved an extraordinary deployment of law enforcement agencies with 1,600 agents involved. The arrests are German citizens, a spokesman for the Dresden police said. The suspects are part of the Lebanese clan already involved in the other spectacular theft of the 100 kilo coin from the Bode-Museum on Museum Island. This is what Dpa reports from sources close to the investigation. (HANDLE).
