The dedicated programming on TV, radio and on the web and the collateral initiatives were made known in a press conference in which the Minister for Equal Opportunities, Elena Bonetti, also took part.
"It is necessary to find - he said - a different language in the narration of violence, which can never be justified, for example with a separation that somehow suggests reciprocity of responsibility. It is necessary to find words that restore hope and trust to women in this battle".
Rai will try to transform itself into a "virtual square", to involve everyone in a collective mobilization.
A beam of red light will illuminate the facade of the building in Viale Mazzinis on which the words "Together against violence on women" will be projected from the evening of the 24th to the morning of November 26th.
The red benches, which have become the symbol of the commitment of the public service against gender-based violence, already present in various Rai offices, will be placed inside the scenography of some TV programs and visual radio.
