The results of the new study are promising: It turned out that the consumption of
green tea

dark chocolate

cocoa powder

dark grapes

Using laboratory tests and computer simulations, researchers in the study checked the response of the main

protease
, which is needed for its spread, to the chemical compounds of the ingredients in
green tea

cocoa powder

dark chocolate
.
The research shows that the compounds in cocoa powder and dark chocolate in particular reduced the activity of the protease enzymes by half.
