In the case of the spectacular break-in into the Green Vault in Dresden in 2019, another suspect is on remand.
Mohamed Remmo was arrested on Monday evening in Berlin-Neukölln and has now been brought before an investigating judge at the Dresden District Court.
The investigators are still looking for the fifth alleged perpetrator, his twin brother Abdul Majed Remmo.

"We are confident that we will be able to arrest him promptly," said the spokesman for the Dresden public prosecutor, Jürgen Schmidt.

All alleged perpetrators belong to the Remmo clan.
He is one of the largest in Germany.
In addition to breaking into the Grünes Gewölbe and the Bode Museum, members of the Arab family are accused of money laundering.
The twins escaped on November 17th despite a large-scale operation by the Dresden police in Berlin.
The three other men from the clan were arrested.
