Masha, the persevering 9-year-old girl who did not stoop to the icy sidewalks of Kiev

The video from a video surveillance camera on Andreyevski Spusk street in the Ukrainian capital, showing his fight against the weather conditions, has become very popular on Twitter in the last week.

The protagonist of the video is called María M. and she is nine years old.

He is in third grade at a school in Kiev and loves learning to do aerobatics and play the piano.

Masha, in a photo posted by her mother on Instagram.

"We were very surprised to learn that this video had spread all over the world. Now many people are writing to Masha. Everyone admires her perseverance and wishes her luck. Some even say that Masha will be mayor of Kiev!" mother.

"They say they want to use these images as a motivational video. More than 150 towns and villages across the country were without power for hours due to the storms.
