(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, DEC 15 - Mike Pompeo accused Moscadi to continue to "threaten the stability of the Mediterranean" and sow "chaos, conflicts and divisions" in the countries of the region.
The US secretary of state thus replied in a note to his Russian colleague Serghiei Lavrov, who earlier this month had accused the United States of "playing political games" in the Mediterranean.
Lavrov "is wrong again and tries to rewrite history", Pompeo stressed, denouncing Moscow's actions in Libya, Greece and Syria. (HANDLE).
