The Thoiry zoological park and its festival of lights is one of the rare places welcoming the public to have reopened its doors since the deconfinement.
The park, located in Yvelines, has not been reopened in its entirety.
Only the light attraction and the car safari are accessible.
But it remains a real moment of happiness and finally the scent of Christmas for the visitors we met.
“Usually we have a little outing ritual as Christmas approaches, and everything is closed there.
So yes it feels good, ”confirms Aurane, who came with her family.
“The safari part saves us a bit, since people stay in their cars and are thus in complete safety to dive into the heart of the African reserve, discover zebras, gazelles, ostriches… We are among the few in France who can propose it ”, welcomes Christelle Bercheny, CEO of the Thoiry group.
