Last Saturday, there were around 14,000.
The health authorities have registered 1,004 new hospitalizations, including 123 in intensive care units.
A total of 24,819 patients are currently hospitalized following a Covid-19 infection, including 2,718 in intensive care.

In 24 hours, 17,565 people tested positive for Covid-19, compared to 15,674 infections on Friday.
The positivity rate rose to 5.6% this Saturday, according to Public Health France.
As for deaths, the total number of deaths linked to Covid-19 has been 60,418 in France since the start of the epidemic in March, including 41,618 in hospital.
