Corona vaccination campaign has begun and the HMOs 'telephone and digital call centers are collapsing • Surfers are furious on the HMOs' social networks: "Poor person who needs emergency medicine"

The vaccine against the corona virus is already here and with it also came the expected loads on the lines of the various HMOs.

Many reports that reached the "Israel Today" system indicate that many applicants who tried to obtain the HMOs in recent days through the various hotlines were unable to do so.

According to reports, phone calls were cut off in the middle and sometimes it was not possible to call at all to make appointments.

Citizens also complained about the lack of communication on the Facebook pages of the funds.

One of the women wrote to the Clalit website on Facebook and said: "I am not even able to contact you through here."

Another surfer wrote: "This is how they are organized? Why are there no more queues? Why did they hang up for three hours without even a dialer? Are you the Israeli government? Want to be? They messed up big and you continue. This is not how you build a wall Let her manage the crisis. "

Clalit HMO members, who were aware of the difficulties, commented on the situation on the Facebook page and wrote: "Good morning, due to an unusual load of calls to the 2700 * hotline, some applicants are unable to cross the router. You can contact us at 03-9405350. Communication teams are working on technological solutions ".

Similar complaints were also made on the Facebook pages of the other HMOs.

For example, one of the complaints we found on the National Health Fund website read: "Does it make sense that the call center could not be reached for a corona examination? Poor person who needs emergency medicine and is not answered. Just a disgrace."

Another respondent wrote: "Two and a half hours to wait for an answer? Hopefully this is not how tomorrow's medical world will look like!".

Also on Maccabi's page, many citizens posted complaints on Facebook and commented that "trying to reach you by phone (on issues that are not really related to Corona) and there is no answer, the app does not open and so does the website. Did you forget that there are other diseases?".

"What's happening to you, Maccabi? Arriving on the phone to make it difficult to queue to Corona * 1 and get a fast busy sound. What kind of hotline is this? You have all the details of the third age, why don't you put someone at every checkout to make appointments? It does not look like that at the moment. "

Maccabi also responded to the many applicants on the Facebook page and wrote that "Maccabi's call center has received tens of thousands of calls since Thursday afternoon to make an appointment for the vaccine.

The overload has created a delay in response despite the extensive preparation for the vaccination campaign.

We apologize for the delay and are working to get back to anyone who left details in the coming days.

According to the directive of the Ministry of Health, only boys and girls aged 60 and over can be vaccinated in the coming days.

Anyone under the age of 60 is asked to wait for the possibility of being vaccinated for additional groups as well.

Good health to everyone and thank you for your cooperation. "

The Leumit HMO also referred to the congestion felt at the centers and said that "the center has a waiting time of about 10 minutes and it is possible to book an appointment through the app without any problems."
