(ANSA) - COPENHAGEN, DEC 20 - WHO Europe asks countries to "strengthen controls" after the discovery in Great Britain of a new variant of Covid-19, which would spread more rapidly.
WHO also recommends its members to "increase sequencing capacity" of the virus to understand more about the risks posed by the variant, a spokesperson for the body said.
