For months, and especially in recent weeks, we have been hearing more and more conspiracies and misinformation about the corona vaccine.
Some claim that the vaccine has not passed all the required approvals, others claim that the vaccine can alter our DNA, but one of the most common and unfounded false claims claims that Microsoft founder Bill Gates plans to use the vaccine to implant people in location-tracking chips.
If it was not sad, it would be funny.

Unfortunately misinformation about the vaccine is not a funny thing, and it can do a lot of harm.
For life to return to normal, more than 60-70 percent of the population needs to be vaccinated.
Conspiracy theories about the vaccine pose a threat to public confidence in vaccines, which is essential to reach this threshold.

To try to fend off these theories, Pfizer has published a list of ingredients that are actually in its vaccine, and chips are not part of it.
Unlike the vaccines we are familiar with in which we are injected with attenuated or killed viruses to elicit an immune response, the active ingredient in the Pfizer and Modernena vaccine, is a fragment of the genetic material of the virus called RNA messenger.
RNA is not DNA, it forms a protein in the immune system, breaks down quickly and does not penetrate the body.
The RNA is wrapped and packed in a bubble that consists of a mixture of sugar, salt and fat that pads it and allows the vaccine to be delivered by injection into a muscle.
