Mauricette, born April 11, 1942, is the first person to have received a vaccine against Covid-19 in France.
The injection of the Pfizer / BioNTech product took place this Sunday morning in the long-term care unit of the René-Muret hospital in Sevran (Seine-Saint-Denis), where she lives.
“Don't panic, I'm ready for the test.
[…] I'm not impressed, ”she blurted out before the injection, which our reporter attended.
Samira, nurse, performed the injection.
Describing her patient as "adorable", she said she was "very moved".
“The injections are treatments that we do every day.
But this is the first vaccine that everyone is talking about.
I didn't have any stress, ”continued the caregiver.
Half an hour later, she "is doing very well"
Mauricette, a former nursing assistant, was vaccinated to the applause of the staff but also of the boss of the AP-HP, Martin Hirsch.
"A little prick for the nurse, a big step for immunity, we hope," greeted the latter on Twitter.
