Ministry of Welfare employees have been vaccinated against corona, although they are not with the risk groups or first priority groups.
While the elderly and at-risk populations are waiting for the vaccine against Corona, employees at the Ministry of Welfare's headquarters were vaccinated without waiting in line, Israel Today has learned. The vaccine is available to both secretaries and clerical staff.
These are staff members of the Ministry of Welfare, including supervisors and social workers who are in contact with institutions for the elderly.
It should be noted that groups such as social workers should be vaccinated only in the second vaccine group, such as teachers, and not be given priority given to medical staff, the elderly in institutions and citizens over the age of 60. Nevertheless, Ministry of Welfare workers have been vaccinated against corona, even though they are not Risk groups or first priority groups.
