After countless sleepless nights, thanks to the infamous 4 month old crisis, we decided it was time to try sleep training using the method of independent anesthesia. If you hear the crying, "Please pray for us and know that we too are crying and getting off track. We apologize very much for the inconvenience this will cause you and hope it does not last long."

Later in the letter she explained whether she and her partner plan to give the new method a chance for four days (or nights), and that if she does not work they will take a break for a week or two and then try again.
They also added reassuring words: "Know that we do not neglect him. We can try to teach him to calm himself for 45-60 minutes at a time during this trial period. We will enter the room every 5-10 minutes so he knows he is not alone, that he is with him and that Okay".

It is not known if the baby learned to fall asleep alone, but at least his parents were given wine and cookies.

The letter was shared on Twitter by one of the neighbors who lives in the building and wrote: "Neighbors left us this letter on the door ... I'm going to bake them some cookies."
Since its publication it has received more than a million likes and thousands of comments.
Most of the respondents praised the couple for the letter they left to the neighbors and wrote words of encouragement.
"If I had gotten a note like that, I would not have cared what they were doing."
Another wrote: "That's how you make a good neighborhood. A beautiful move."
Another respondent wrote: "We need more such neighbors in the world."
The neighbor who published the letter by the way, kept her word and brought the parents chocolate chip cookies and also brownies she baked for them and also attached a bottle of wine and even baby soap for the little one who ruined their nights.
