Under the crackle of cameras and in front of cameras, the first vaccinations began in Europe this weekend.
Germany has chosen to reserve its first dose for a hundred-year-old Berliner, while Italy has had medical staff in Rome vaccinated.

Elsewhere in Europe, some politicians have rolled up their sleeves first.
This is the case of Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotaki and his Czech counterpart Andrej Babis.
“Yesterday evening, I saw a lady on the news on a television station who said she would wait for Babis to get the vaccine.
So I decided to set an example, ”explained the latter shortly before his vaccination.
Europe has already ordered 200 million doses of the vaccine from Pfizer, with an option of 100 million additional doses.
