Demonstrator Hildmann in Berlin: "I will continue until I have power"
Photo: Christian Mang
If you want to experience Attila Hildmann very gently, you have to go into the forest with him.
Not far from the Wandlitzer See, north of Berlin, where Hildmann walks his Husky Akira almost every day, including this Wednesday.
"Well, honey," he says to the dog.
He got "the little rascal" from the animal shelter two and a half years ago.
Recently, anonymous mail writers threatened to kill Akira, "they want to take what I love."
A beetle lies on its back on the forest path; it cannot get to its feet on its own.
Hildmann turns him around and puts him to the side of the road.
No animal should suffer when it comes to Hildmann, the vegan cookbook author and entrepreneur.
The Green Volker Beck, on the other hand, does.
"If I were Chancellor, I would reintroduce the death penalty for Volker Beck by having his balls trampled in a public place!"
Hildmann announced this last Saturday at a Corona protest in front of the Altes Museum in Berlin.
Protecting animals, slaughtering people, they don't really go together.
But that applies to much of what Hildmann said in the past few weeks.
The 39-year-old has been organizing rallies at which he spreads conspiracy myths since May.
He claims that US billionaire Bill Gates and the Chancellor want to decimate humanity, or shouts: "The World Bank is ruled by the Rothschilds, and that's the Zionists!"
