Closed since March 13, 2020, the 1,600 nightclubs in France may well reopen soon, but not to welcome clubbers unleashed on the slopes.
They propose to house the next vaccinations.
A project carried by the National Union of Discotheques and Leisure Places (SNDLL) and made public in a press release Monday, January 25.
“As part of the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, the SNDLL has mobilized its members and decided to propose to the public authorities the provision of 1,600 establishments in mainland France and overseas to transform them into emergency vaccination center for the entire population, ”the statement said.

One way for managers to "give back a meaning" to their night establishments, believes Patrick Malvaës, president of the SNDLL.
The opportunity also to participate in the national effort and to work for the reopening of nightclubs: "Controlling the Covid-19 is the essential prerequisite for economic recovery, starting with our own", commented- he.

Hard hit by the health crisis, nightclubs are today in a "dramatic" situation.
Out of nearly 1,600 establishments, one in four is in "extreme difficulty", a hundred are in liquidation and about 200 are in reorganization.
