Very last days to ask for the exemption from the payment of the 90 euros of the 2021 TV fee. To avoid the automatic charge of the subscription in the electricity bill, those who own an electricity user but do not have a TV at home, must send, by 1 February, via web or by registered letter or certified e-mail, the appropriate substitute declaration, directly or through an intermediary
The ordinary deadline to be respected would be January 31, but this year falls on Sunday.
For this reason the deadline is postponed to Monday.
In particular, interested parties must fill in "part A" of the model available on the Revenue Agency website, declaring that in none of the homes where an electricity user is activated in their own name is there a TV set belonging to a component of the family.
The part can also be filled in by the heirs to declare that in the house where the electric utility still in the name of a deceased person is still active, there is no TV set.
If the exemption application cannot be submitted via the web, the form can be sent by registered mail.
Alternatively, it is also possible to transmit the model through authorized intermediaries (Cafs, professionals, etc.).
Those who miss the Monday deadline will in any case benefit from a partial exemption: by submitting an application by June 30, you will be exempted for the second semester of the year.
