(ANSA) - MOSCOW, JAN 31 - Moscow accuses the US of "gross interference" in its internal affairs with regard to American declarations on protests in Russia against Navalny's detention. "Gross US interference in Russia's internal affairs is a proven fact as well as the promotion of fake news and calls for unauthorized action on Washington-controlled internet platforms," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement from the Interfax news agency.
The Russian ministry then adds that "support for a violation of the law by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is another confirmation of the role played by Washington behind the scenes". (HANDLE).
