Mother against mother: Commissioner Lenski (Maria Simon) meets Louise Bronski (Luzia Oppermann).

The scenario:
Mother is the beast.
Louise Bronski (Luzia Oppermann) apparently killed the employee of a youth welfare office because she did not want to say which foster parents the young woman's daughter is staying with.
Inspector Lenski (Maria Simon), who had just quit duty and wanted to go on vacation with her own daughter, is involuntarily dragged into a final case - and taken hostage when she meets the murder suspect.
The highlight:
Power and powerlessness of mothers.
This "police call" tries to shed light on mother-daughter relationships on various levels.
The focus is on the question of whether Lenski, as hostage of the borderline personality Louise, finds a level with this through being a mother together.
A risky construct - that doesn't quite work.

On the station: Inspector Raczek (Lucas Gregorowicz) consults with colleagues.

The picture:
In destruction mode: In a discotheque, Louise kicks a man lying on the ground as if he has made a stupid remark.
The dialogue:
Lenski's colleague Raczek (Lucas Gregorowicz) speaks to the mother of the fugitive Louise, and the old woman conjures up the destructive energy of the young like an evil force.
Commissioner: "Nobody is born like this, Frau Bronski."
Mother: “Oh yeah? I'll tell you something now: I was scared of Lou. Even when she was very little I was scared of her. "
The review:
4 out of 10 points.
The ARD only made the first 75 minutes of the crime story accessible so that the end of the story could not be revealed before it was broadcast.
So here's just a preliminary assessment: a brutal bye-bye that lacks psychological precision.
The analysis:

The future:
Even if Maria Simon has now submitted her departure after 18 episodes - the "police call" area of the Berlin-Brandenburg broadcasting company will not be closed.
Lucas Gregorowicz, who has been seen in ten episodes so far, will continue to investigate with André Kaczmarczyk as a German-Polish double.
