He was actually supposed to make an action film with Arnold Schwarzenegger, but because of Corona, Ralf Möller moved from LA to the Ruhr area. Now he is fighting to ensure that his parents are finally vaccinated.

Recklinghausen

Two days before Ralf Moeller will meet FDP party chairman Christian Lindner, he opens the front door in Recklinghausen to introduce his parents: father Helmut, a trained welder and locksmith, 91 years old, and mother Ursula, called Uschi, former shoe seller, 84 years old old.

"Vatter," calls Moeller into the hallway, "come out now, on the balcony."

Moeller's parents are in need of care, grade 3, they almost never leave the house, his father goes to foot care once a month, his mother, who needs a walker, walks up and down the street a few times every two days with a physiotherapist.

The nursing staff come twice a day, says Moeller, and food is brought to them every day.

Everything is organized.

But in times of Corona, the two are no longer safe.

That's why he's staying here for now.

Ralf Moeller was once a swimming master in Recklinghausen, but today he is one of the few Germans who made it in Hollywood.

In the nineties he became known with the series "Conan the Adventurer", alongside Russell Crowe he starred in the film "Gladiator", one of the greatest monumental films of the last decades, in which it is about life or death and nothing in between a little like Moeller also understands life.
