Former Turin whistle beat Nicchi with 193 votes against 125 (ANSA) Alfredo Trentalange is the new president of the Italian Referees Association until 2024. The former international whistle and former head of the referee technical sector beat outgoing number one Marcello Nicchi, in office for three consecutive terms, with 193 votes validly cast by 'The Hague General Assembly in progress in Fiumicino.     For Nicchi 125 votes, 2 blank ballots.
