(ANSA) - GENOA, MARCH 16 - Many races for the Terzo Valicoferroviario, in particular those for the tunnels between Liguria and Piedmont, would have been rigged "constantly".
For this the gup of Genoa has indicted over 30 people.
Traquesti Pietro Salini, CEO of WeBuild (accused of disturbance of the auction);
Giandomenico Moniaio (auction disruption and corruption), entrepreneur and son of the former state accountant Andrea (the latter under investigation for auction disruption, allegedly sponsored his son);
Ettore Incalza (auction disruption), historical 'grand commìs' of the maxi-works, which would have been spent for Monitra.
Other entrepreneurs include Stefano Perotti and Duccio Astaldi.
The judicial process on the Terzo Valico (high speed railway Genoa-Milan) could however break against the obstacle of the statute of limitations, which for the vast majority of the disputes will start within the middle of next year.
The system by which the contracts were mixed by the general contractor identified by the state for the construction of the work was finished in the crosshairs of the prosecutor (53 km of which 37 underground, a value exceeding 6 billion).
Everything revolves around Cociv, a consortium originally formed by Salini-Impregilo, a water company and Civ, the general contractor, which managed a flood of public money.
Ainguaiare Salini is in particular a phone call with the ex-president Cociv Michele Longo (also indicted).
The first asked to exclude his cousin Claudio, who had left the family business in 2005 to create an independent one and then died in a car accident, and the second assured them.
Salini remarked that "in all disputed conversations reference is made to contracts that are now non-modifiable: there will be a way to demonstrate good faith during the trial".
