(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 23 - There are 18,765 coronavirus test positives in Italy in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Ministry of Health.
Yesterday there were 13,846, almost 5,000 less.
On the other hand, there were 551 victims in a single day (yesterday there were 386).
There are 335,189 molecular and antigenic swabs carried out; yesterday the tests were 169,196.
The positivity rate is 5.6% (yesterday it was 8.1%), down 2.5%.
There are 3,546 patients admitted to intensive care, 36 more than yesterday in the daily balance between entries and exits, while the daily entrances to resuscitation are 317, according to the data of the Ministry of Health (yesterday they were 227).
On the other hand, 28,428 people are hospitalized in the ordinary wards, with an increase of 379 units in the last 24 hours.
The total cases since the beginning of the epidemic are 3,419,616, while the deaths rise to 105,879.
There are 560,654 positives currently, down 2,413 from yesterday.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, however, 2,753,083 people have recovered and been discharged, with an increase of 20,601 in the last 24 hours.
There are 528,680 people in home isolation (-2,828 compared to yesterday).
