(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 27 - The number of civilians killed today in Burma in the repression of demonstrations against the coup d'etat last month has risen to at least 114, according to CNN, citing a budget from the independent site Myanmar Now.


   If confirmed, the toll of violence in 44 cities across the country represents the bloodiest since the protests began. According to the same source, one of the victims is a 13-year-old girl who was shot dead at home when security forces fired on a residential area in Meikhtila, in the Mandalay region. (HANDLE).
