Almost 20 years on Saturday evenings with »DSDS« on RTL, now on Instagram alone

"There was so much going on, folks" - for the first time Dieter Bohlen spoke up after his early retirement on the RTL casting show "Deutschland sucht den Superstar".
In a video on Instagram, the 67-year-old said that he was "very happy with the situation."
Bohlen had "received a lot of offers" in the past few days, as he said.
The video was uploaded by the fired star juror to coincide with the start of the "DSDS" live shows on Saturday evening.
"I have big plans, you will hear from me."
Bohlen's Instagram story was already big.
In 13 screenshots he published an homage from the newspaper »Welt«, called »Erect a memorial for Dieter«, whereby one screenshot was uploaded twice.
It was also unfortunate that the article on the online presence of the »Welt« could actually only be read behind the payment barrier.
Gottschalk as a substitute for the jury
For Bohlen, Thomas Gottschalk sat next to Maite Kelly and Mike Singer on the jury on Saturday.
Bohlen had canceled his participation in the semifinals and finals and submitted a health insurance certificate.
“Titans can fall too, and that happened to Dieter.
Of course we wish him to get up again quickly.
Get well soon, ”explained Gottschalk.
Bohlen did not show any signs of illness in the Instagram video.
Apart from the announcements, Bohlen didn't give any details, it wasn't much more than a sign of life.
A few weeks ago, RTL announced that Bohlen's time on the show would end after almost 20 years.
He will also no longer be part of the “Super Talent”.
Bohlen was notorious for his humiliating remarks about participants in the casting shows.
The background to the separation could be a more serious realignment of the Cologne private broadcaster.
