(ANSA) - NEW YORK, MARCH 27 - New York launches the first American 'vaccine passport'. It is called Excelsior Pass and it is an app that will allow you to show that you have been vaccinated for Covid or tested negative.
The app will allow access to events, from parties to entertainment, by providing a QR code that can be easily scanned. The system is built on an IBM platform but is based on blockchain technology, which means that neither IBM nor the companies that scan it will have access to the health information of those who use it.
