The National Assembly voted on Saturday evening at first reading to delete certain domestic airlines, in the event of alternatives in the course of less than 2:30, after a lively debate and differences even in the majority.
This emblematic measure of the climate bill aims to eliminate links between Paris (Orly) and Nantes, Lyon or Bordeaux, but provides for exceptions for connecting journeys.
The Citizen's Convention for the Climate had demanded to give up domestic lines in the event of alternatives of less than 4 hours by train, and not 2:30.
Article 36 of the # ClimatResilience bill, which provides for the abolition of domestic flights for which there is an alternative by train within 2h30, is adopted by the deputies.

The vote was taken with 56 votes in favor and 14 votes against out of 70 votes cast.
Member of Parliament Danièle Obono (LFI) also defended an amendment to this effect at the Palais Bourbon on Saturday evening.
He advocated banning domestic flights in the event of an alternative train of up to 4 hours.
"It is the richest who pollute the air of the majority," said the elected.
