Are you familiar with inheritance law? The »crime scene« about the death of a chocolate cherry manufacturer weighs up the advantages and disadvantages. Then a Plasberg talk on the topic right away.

The scenario:

Inherit and die in an endless loop.

Shortly after the patriarch of a Black Forest chocolate cherry empire announced to her family that she has married her companion and that she will now be considered in the will, she falls down the stairs and later dies in the hospital.

While Tobler (Eva Löbau) and Berg (Hans-Jochen Wagner) are still trying to clarify whether the old lady was pushed, there is already the next death: The partner, favored in the will, drowned in a body of water.

Does someone want to murderously manipulate the succession?

The highlight:

The »Tatort« as a socio-political debate club: This is where inheriting the angry issue is weighed up and negotiated.

Unfortunately, that doesn't really help the thriller plot.

If so, you'd better go straight to 75 minutes of "tough but fair" on the subject.

Two old ladies who say yes in front of a registrar.

Right at the beginning we see how the old chocolate cherry manufacturer marries her partner.

What a light-footed introduction to a corporate thriller, in which the characters sluggishly chatter towards the foreseeable end for the remaining 80 minutes.

The dialogue:

The Commissioner and the Commissioner argue about the case in the car.

Then the following exchange of blows for and against inheritance law:

Berg: »So for a day of marriage an entire empire is tax-free?

I would also feel ripped off as a descendant.

I think it's pretty unfair. "

Tobler: »But inheriting is always unfair.

Only those who had a lot before and never had to do anything have a lot of inheritance.

And those who do not inherit anything live with the heirs to rent or clean their villa.

This is an outdated privilege anyway, inheritance. "

Berg: "Well, as soon as you inherit yourself, you think differently about it."

The song:

"I'll Come Crushing" by Giant Dog.

This against-the-wall emo cracker happens when the granddaughter of the dead patriarch screams "Fuck!" In the expensive convertible and lets go of her frustration.

The only brief moment of unleashing in the midst of the leisurely staging.

The review:

2 out of 10 points.

The hot iron heirs, knocked down to lukewarm.
