Should we be worried about the loosening of traffic restrictions in almost a week?

The figures of Public Health France, this Sunday, show an epidemic still very strong, despite a stabilization on a high plateau in the hospital.

Figures that Emmanuel Macron should look at, who should speak "soon" according to government spokesman Gabriel Attal, to detail a schedule of reopening.

This Sunday, 30,287 people are currently hospitalized due to Covid-19.

There were 30,100 on Saturday and 30,789 seven days ago.

In critical care (resuscitation, intensive care and continuous monitoring), there is also a slight increase: 5,978 patients are hospitalized there this Sunday, against 5,958 Saturday and 5,893 seven days ago.

145 new deaths are to be deplored in the past 24 hours, against 220 on Saturday.

A figure to be taken with caution due to the weekend, during which many services are closed.

However, for comparison, there had been 140 deaths over the same period seven days ago.

In total, more than 100,000 people have died from Covid-19 in France, since the start of the epidemic.
