In the debate about the video campaign #allesdichtmachen, criticism of the actors and actors is growing louder - especially among medical staff: using the hashtag #allemalneschichtmachen, numerous users are now criticizing the campaign as cynical and not constructive.
Dozens of TV and film stars, including Jan Josef Liefers, Heike Makatsch and Ulrich Tukur, commented on the pandemic policy of the federal government and the way media workers dealt with it in sarcastically ironic videos under the motto #allesdichtmachen.
In the meantime, some of the celebrities have distanced themselves from the action after heavy criticism and widespread approval, especially from the right-wing political camp.
The emergency doctor and blogger Carola Holzner, known in the network as "Doc Caro", now used the counteraction #allesdichtmachen for a call: She asked the artists involved in the action to work for a shift in the rescue service or in an intensive care unit.
"You have crossed a limit," said Holzner, senior physician at the Essen University Hospital, about the #allesdichtmachen campaign in an Instagram video.
"And a pain threshold for all those who have been doing everything for over a year."
